It's been
an intense week.
Let's
Recap:
Diploma
Done
I
finished my diploma course with an extensive assessment. Didn't sleep for 30hrs
(excluding the 5-15min nap I had during Kingdom of Heaven). Yea Ridley Scott, that was a step
backwards from Gladiator.
Flying
Finn
"Kimi
Raikkonen wins the Spanish Grand Prix!" The actual headline should be:
"The Mclaren didn't explode!" It was almost a Schumacher-esque
victory (lead from start to finish), but better. His blistering pace was summed
up perfectly by Ron Dennis: "It was difficult trying to get him to slow
down!"

Country
vs Rock
American
Idol has never been better. The dream finale between Bo and Carrie is still on.
Carrie messed up last Tuesday, but thankfully Americans gave her another
chance. Initially, I was rooting for Bo, but he went through a dip halfway
through and that was when Carrie shone. Perfomances in Alone and Independence
day were simply astounding. I'm all for Bo's uniqueness and stage presence, but
Carries range, power and technical ability (she can hold a note for hours I
swear) just does it for me. However, "Underwood" just reminds me of a
hobbit.
Here's
something interesting I found on Ebay:

During
her teenage years
Last time
I checked, this thing was going for $127.50.
The
American Takeover
Malcolm
Glazer has already purchased 75% of Manchester United. This means that he can
now de-list the company from the stock market and place all debt onto the club.
I don't care what's going to happen in the management, I just want us to win
the Premiership again. We have fallen far behind Chelsea and we have got to beat them next
year.
The
Relegation Scrap
It was
tense Survival Sunday showcasing all the scraps to stay in the Premiership. It
was a Manchester United moment. United defeated Southampton to condemn them to relegation, Andy
Cole (former Man Utd player) scored the final goal for Fulham in a 6-0 drubbing
of Norwich to dump them out of the
Premiership, West-Brom managed by ex-Utd skipper Bryan Robson was the only team
in the relegation scrap to salvage victory and stay in the Premiership. And
that win was sealed by Kieran Richardson (A Man Utd player on loan to West Brom). Oh, and Arsenal lost. A classic
Manchester United moment.
Federer
Express back in action
Tomas
Berdych defeated him in the Olympics. On Wednesday, he smashed the guy to bits
(6-2, 6-1). Richard Gasquet handed him one of two defeats this season. On
Sunday he beat that kid in straight sets in the Masters Series Hamburg final.
Hope he wins the French Open.
Leaked
Images
The Viral
marketing strategy of the Xbox 360. "The unveiling will be on May 13th on
an MTV special hosted by Elijah Wood." Bleah. Ourcolony.net released
images almost 9 days prior and dudes who were present during the filming of the
MTV Special brought in cameras. So "official" pictures appeared a
week before the console did. What an anti-climax.

Estacion
de Jugar 3
So in
wondering how Sony would counter this "maneuver" from Microsoft, I've
been going to forums looking for mockups and stuff of the Playstation 3. I kinda liked this one:

But it
ended up looking like this:

Amazing
stuff. This is the console war. The shaders and cloth examples in the technical
demos by the system are simply brilliant. Almost double the power of the Xbox
360 (whatever teraflops are)! 35 times the power of the PS2!

Oh, and yeah, I'm going to Bristol
